Saturday morning, Jeremy says he wants to go to the flea market not too far from Huntsville. Well, if anyone really knows me, you know that I hate flea markets. I don't find them fun at all. So, I let him take the kids while telling him I had laundry to do. (That is how much I hate flea markets) A few hours later Emilee comes into the house very excited and asks me to guess what they got from the market. I go outside and Megan is bringing in this. An 8 week puppy. Now, Jeremy and I have been talking about getting a dog. We had one a few years ago, but we had to give him up because he just was too hyper for my kids. I just thought we had to prepare more around our house to make it more puppy safe. I guess when they found this little critter, they couldn't resist including Jeremy. So, we now have a new member of our family. I guess I think he is kind of cute. So, just when I thought I was all through with potty training, here I am, doing it again. He is actually doing pretty good. We just have to be on top of it and make sure we take him out every 2-3 hours. He seems to hold it quite well during the night. We need to work on him telling us, but they say that can take a couple of months. His first night he whined a lot in the night, but I put my earphones in my ear and told Jeremy I've done that job 3 kids before, it is all up to him. Hee-hee. He is a Dausend mixed with a Coon Dog. His mother was the Coon and his father was the Dausend and the kids named him Odie. The kids have had a blast with him. They even love cleaning up his stuff outside. They get so excited for him when he makes it outside to do his business and praise him with great words and treats. I think little Odie is going to like it here. He definitely will have lots of love from my kids.
